Shopify app

Five photos in.A finished catalog entry out.

RE:CATALOG reads your product photos and writes the title, description, category, attributes, tags, SEO and price — in your shop's language. Then it translates all of it into the other languages you sell in. Every product lands as a draft for you to check.

How it works

Four states, about a minute.

  1. analyzing

    It reads the photos

Up to five per product. Labels, tags and spec sheets are the ones that pay off — the app pulls out what it can actually see, and it's told not to invent the rest.

  2. preview

    You check the draft

Every field is editable: title, description, category, attributes, tags, SEO, price. Wrong category? Pick from the alternatives. What you approve is what gets created.

  3. creating

    It creates the product

A draft product in your store, with your photos, the Shopify taxonomy category, metafields and SEO already filled in. Nothing reaches your storefront without you.

  4. translating

    It translates the rest

One language at a time, into Shopify's own translation store. You edit them in Translate & Adapt like anything else you wrote.

Your data

Your photos stay yours.

  • They never touch our servers on the way up. Your browser uploads them straight into your own Shopify Files library.
  • We don't store them. To generate, we pull a resized copy from Shopify's CDN, hold it in memory for one request, and drop it. What we keep is the file ID — a pointer to a file in your store.
  • Translations live in Shopify, not with us. Uninstall the app and they stay in your store.
  • No customer data, ever. The app holds no permission to read customers or orders. It never asks for one.

Languages

It writes in your language, not just English.

Content is generated in your shop's primary language first — not written in English and translated afterwards. From there it goes into every other language you publish, through Shopify's native translation store. The app's own interface is available in English and Bulgarian.

Pricing

You pay for products, on your Shopify invoice.

Billing runs through Shopify's usage-based pricing. Your plan includes a number of products; anything past that is metered per product and appears on the invoice you already get from Shopify. There's no card to enter here and we never see your payment details.

  • One product is one delivered analysis. Editing the draft, creating it and translating it cost nothing extra.
  • A failed generation isn't charged. Metering only happens once an analysis reaches you.
  • Bring your own AI key on the plans that allow it, and your provider bills you directly instead.
